New Antenna site?

If I heard correctly today, I think they are going to use the channel 13 WVTM tower as another transmitting site. My understanding that next week it should be online. If that is the case, even an antenna part way up there tower should give excellent coverage. If anyone hears this, or has more info, please let us know.

If you're talking about the new Birmingham system, yes, they will be on WVTM's tower. I can't wait.

one more thing... as for the system going live next week, if it does, it will only be the police. The fire department doesn't have the radios installed except for in the stations. With the trouble the police have been having, they may go ahead but personally I haven't heard anything on that.
