Just got a bc246t and its awsome! But I feel like the antenna could be better, I'm looking for something that will pull in the signals! I'm pretty new to this...... Any suggestions?

Watson Super Gainer at Scannermaster.com or the Diamond RH77CA. For the Diamond antenna,check the Diamond Antenna website. I use both for my 246 and i love them

How do they do in the 800's? Wich is better in your opinion?

For 800's you will need an 800mhz antenna. Radio Shack has it and Scannermaster also. They go for about $19.00 i have all 3 of them

Sometimes i get 800mhz with the other antennas i have but i hardly listen to 800. When i do, i put on the small 800mhz i have from Radio Shack. It works better then the other antennas (for 800mhz)

Well I got the antenna today and its awsome! All the static is gone now I can finally hear the entire conversations! Thanks to the both of you for the info!!!

later on if u have some money to spend, check out the bc346XT. It's even better then the 246. Or if u wanna go digital, check out the 396XT. They are awsome scanners. The 396XT is pricy though $500 but the 346XT is around $220. Good luck

Ill definetly check out the 346, unfortunetly I just bought this one for 200 so it'll have to wait a couple months! But thanks for info, I appreciate all the advice I get!
