Just moved into a new apartment last weekend and this is my temp setup. I am going to do something with the radios. I used a pole lamp I had for an antenna mount.

Are those fire extinguishers functional or just for decoration? ;-)

They are functional. They are going to become table lamps but I am not going to make it so they are no longer functional. I got them about 8 years ago for 5 bucks each. The Masonic Temple my dad belongs to in NE Ohio had them and replaced them with "up to code" extingushers. I am going to remove the stckers and glue so only the original name plate is on them. I also have a JetSonic lightbar that I think is going to become part of a coffee table. That should make a good heavy base for a table. And yes it will still work! I have 2 other lamps that are unique also, they are made out of old radar tubes. I will take some pictures of them and post them also.

I hate to say it, but you MUST be single! :)
You've got that right!!!! I do have to say my ex left the radar tube lamps when she moved out. They will have new lamp shades soon. I did have a house full of radios when I was married. And you should see my other hobbies!!! Radio control cars, planes and helicopters!

I loved the Tech Noir nightclub in The Terminator. Red and blue lightbars mounted on the walls.

I have one fire extinguisher lamp working. I will do the other one when I get home from work tonight. Here is the first one in working order.

How well do your antenna's work from the inside? What are you monitoring off of those antenna's? Nice little set up.
