does anyone know what system central newfoundland is using . i know it is p25 and i found a freq which is 160.5900 but can't seem to get it programed in my scanner . I have a bc296d

i was wrong about 160.5900 for central nfld it is for the south coast

In the 296 you have to program the system as MOT2/P25.
You also need to use the control channel setting.
