I have a wildcard programmed into my Pro-197 to catch new talk groups. Usually they are encrypted newbies for Ft Smith or Sebastian Co.
But last night, I snagged one that was different.
29701
That isn't listed as a county OEM or an SO, but they were talking about a prisoner transport. They specified "prisoner" not "patient". What makes it so strange is the next number in the sequence, 29702, is one of the statewide trauma group.
Baffles me that the numerical sequence would start with a law enforcement agency and suddenly shift to medical.
Any ideas?
