It's a Capacity Plus system, so should be entered that way. Color Code is 1.

The following three frequencies are the ones I have as active.

Frequency LCN

453.487500 1
460.375000 2
460.025000 3

These frequencies were not active as of last spring, but that can always change.
453.3375
460.1375
460.2750

In ARC XT program it is a MotoTrbo system. Enter the frequencies, LCN, and CC data in the site. Set ID Mode to Search and see what happens.
Thanks
I'm just Thumb Bumping the frequencies into the 996P2 because Free Scan is not
compatible with the new options.
Ill Edit the frequencies to add the LCN's and Void the Unused Frequencies.

Well I see the system is now listed on RR But I have different results than listed.

Talk Group 1 Is the EMA office on Kempton Street and Ive heard them on City Events talking to vehicles... Fire Work Displays Parades things like that.

Groups 2 and 3 are City Services - Sewer talk ( Streets Flooding ), Sign Installs ( Stop) and Such.

Never heard and Senior Bus services on 6 nor the City Inspector on 5.

The Latest thing has been a DRM Beacon (Purr) late night 12 am -6am on the 452.450 City TAC frequency..Wonder if their testing ... Most Analog traffic on TAC is on Mondays at 7 pm when the do a round robin of radio checks.

Transmitter is located at the City Yard on Liberty Street in New Bedford on a tower.
Have to say so on that - Just went by City yard and my little analog scanner in the car got Hammered with DMR in Idle mode.

Hi Pete,

I added the system in after confirming the frequencies in use, and the three TGs listed. I found a good spot in Dartmouth where I can get the system almost full decode. I noticed over on SNE but not on RR, hence why it needed to be added. If you have confirmed other TGs, submit a ticket.
:)

Hi Mike
I just Submitted a form about Talk group 1 being EMA on Kempton Street.
I'm not home during the day so Ive never heard talk groups 5 and 6 being used though. That would be city
inspectors and a senior bus operation.
as for groups 7 or 8 ?
The Airport still uses their Low Band Frequency - I hear them all the time when I'm at work on Mt Pleasant St

I was last down there April of 2019 and was able to confirm TG 6 as senior services, including buses. The license WQQI713 maps out toe Melville Towers, but someone has previously said that's not correct.

I have to get down there again so I can do some listening, but I don't know when that will be.

Hi Garys
Went through this a while back - Nothing on Melville towers but TV antenna's the apartments across the street and
the old Hotel have UHF stacked arrays on them . I have noticed there are 2 towers ( Rohn 25 Type) over by the city yard in the Kempton Street area and I had the Analog Bearcat hand held today and it was getting hammered with DMR when I passed the City yard.
Just a hobby for me... Your Mileage may vary ~

Wouldn't be the first time the FCC info wasn't accurate. The last time I was by the DPW I don't recall seeing Rohn towers, but that could have changed too. Do you know the street address of the old hotel?

Thanks. I don't know, other than for coverage, if it makes much difference if the repeater is at the DPW yard or on Pleasant Street. Sitting anywhere near the waterfront in New Bedford should be good for reception.

It's actually not, surprisingly. I had a very difficult time decoding the New Bedford DMR there for some reason. I found much better reception the further north (North of Route 6) I went in the city of this system. I decoded it in Dartmouth with out any issues in the parking lot of this strange clearance store.

I'll keep that in mind when I ever get down there. Since work is down to almost nothing right now, I might be able to take a trip down either this week or early next.
