New BR330T Owner DMA Question...

How is everyone organizing there freqs with DMA...

I am using bctool when I import from this site
it does the following

\system name\"imported"\freqs

Does everyone leave it like that?

I am thinking of doing somthing like

\Area name\system name\freqs

Should I keep my systems in the top level?

I am just curious how everyone else has there DMA scanners organized for non truncked systems

I've changed my naming thought process for both systems and groups 3 times, and I suspect you will do the same. It really is all about how you want to organize it, but almost as important, what you want to turn on and off with quick keys most frequently. BTW, I use County, State, State Police, and Local as systems names, with things like Forestry, Game, and Fish under State for groups. I needed State Police to be separate system for various reasons.

Ive sorted mine by county-then city within the county-then service(police, fire, local gov.)

im using FREEScan to import to my radio-just copy and paste what you need/like from RR Database using FireFox.

ive renamed about half my tags from whats listed on RR., but thats to my liking..
