Are we sure that both the fleet map and the IDs for this system are correct?

The database shows size code 4 in blocks 0 through 5, and size code 12 in blocks 6 and 7. Both of those size codes have only one "fleet", yet the database shows IDs in different fleets.

For example, the DB has 501-01 for "HIGH SCHOOL SECURITY" and 500-01 for "EMS Dispatch". With size code 4, 501-01 seems to be invalid (or, at the very least, 500-01 and 501-01 are the same talk group). We shouldn't see anything but 00 in the fleet field, assuming the IDs are listed in the form BFF-SS.

I am sure at least some of the info is incorrect since correct TG displays on a scanner are dependent on correctly entering a fleet map. As there is no one that verifies the authenticity of submissions, invalid talkgroups are inevitable on this and other systems.
My monitoring of NB TRS is limited to special trips so I cannot verify a fleet map.

Chris and all,

To provide a bit of context to this thread, I had posted a message on the Win96 Yahoo group regarding what I thought were apparent errors with Win96 and these TG's. As Don has posted, and I have discovered for myself, the fault lies with the data, not with the software.

I had posted the following:

MWillyG said:
3 of the TG's are 601-00, 601-01, and 601-05.

When I attempt to enter any of these the software defaults to
"000-01."

Additionally, there are two 501-01 and 101-01 TG's. The software
defaults these to 000-00.

I have the bank and channel settings entered for Moto trunking and the
correct fleet map set.

Specifically, the following TG's must be incorrect:

101-02 City Yard
101-08 City Yard
501-01 High School Security
601-00 Traffic
601-01 Traffic
601-05 Traffic 3

Concerning the posted Fleetmap, I am pretty sure this is correct (maybe 90% + sure). I have monitored NB sporadically, and I have never felt that I was missing any comms/responses. I am more inclined to believe that these TG's are incorrect.
