Noticing that Burlington Fire has re-assigned certain first response equipment and changed designations of the various types. Pumpers are now referred to as Engines, Quints are now Ladders and the former Ladders are now Aerials. In addition the old unit numbers that were essentially "3XY" where X was the station assignment and Y the number of the vehicle by station (for example Pumper 341, 3 being Burlington, 4 being home assignment station 4, and 1 being the "first" unit assigned to the station is now Engine 304. Also, the volunteer arm of the department that operated out of BFD headquarters (Station 1) on Fairview St. has been eliminated and the response units renumbered and reassigned. I presume from that we can assume the specific volunteer page-out talkgroups in the Halton P25 system have now gone silent as well. This would not affect Station 5 in Kilbride as it remains fully volunteer staffed. Lastly, "Captains" are now "Officers" on the radio.
