i have a pro 106 and had ARC 500 on my old computer. i just got a new computer saterday do i have to do anything (like re pureice) to get this program on the new computer?

I don't know what (re pureice) is, but you just need to do an install on the new computer, and enter you registration code. It should create a folder in MY Doc's of My Scanner Data Files/ARC500. Copy the file(s) in that directory on your old computer into the same folder on the new one and you should be all set. I am not sure how ARC500 handles Windows 7 in terms of folder names and places, but you should be able to find it and copy into the new folder. You may need to get updated drivers for your USB adapter, and be sure to install them 1st before connecting the scanner.
