Don, I recently had a new computer built and went from Windows XP to Windows 7 and I need to transfer my WIN500 file to it. I have my registry key but inexplicably did not write down my name from the old system, so therefore I can't log in. Can you PM me or tell me how to proceed?

Bump.

Does anyone know where DonS is? My only option seems to be to re-subscribe and pay the fee again.

Can you get the old PC running? If so, run Win500 then click Help>License Key.
If not your Name box will be
First Last email home address including zip
Note the single space between each

Finally dragged the old computer down from the attic and spliced it in. The Help & License Key worked like a charm. I opened the new program, validated it, uploaded all frequncies & systems (1500+ objects) from a scanner, and saved the file. Thanks for the tip I was afraid I was gonna have to buy the program all over again. For anyone running a WIN program, take 1 minute to log this info on paper and store it in a safe place. If your computer crashes or you buy a new one you'll be glad you did.

That's what I did when I bought both Win96 and Win500,I saved both emails and then printed them out the moment I got both emails, just in case my puter gave up the ghost(I do this for a number of programs I own)
