I don't know much about this, but I just found it, only record that makes sense is the following:

143.5200
LAC-SAINTE-MARIE, QC (MT STE-MARIE)CTM CENTRE DE TÉLÉPHONE MOBILE LTÉE

radio shows it as a CAP system, and Colour Code 9

Can't help out with much more as it's in french.

Getting a good distance out of it though as I'm up near Golden Lake, ON and I'm hearing it from here.

Under the same call sign, this other frequency is also attached to it.

152.3150

I receive this fine south east rural Ottawa,
Could be a single site system.

Is there anyone ouit there that is able to listen to this system? Not sure if it's a new system or part of a different system, but it certainly is active. However it's all in french. Sorry, no parlez vous francais here.

143.520 has a LCN of 1 for sure. I've submitted it to the database however there's been a slight delay in having it actually get updated.

Not much I can add, other than to confirm what you found. I can't hear the 152.315 channel very well,
not sure why if it's at the same site.

Systems up that way don't seem to be very busy. I check from time to time on weekdays when I have
a day off, on some systems I've yet to see any traffic. Then again, I'm usually jumping around to check a
bunch of things and don't spend much time on any one frequency.

I have 2 more frequencies that I've found recently as well too. Just no idea how to ID them for anything and they don't show up in a TAFL search either for Quebec. They're both encrypted comms. I can only assume they're from one of the Quebec systems though possibly RENIR

164.280

Those are RENIR P25 voice channels, they are all over the place. You can tell from the NAC which system they belong to, although NAC varies with site.

DB hasn't been updated much over the last several years. Some new sites have popped up.

Do I have to enter them in as a conventional mode first to get the NAC etc.? Because nothing shows up other then they're encrypted while in search mode.

I've stuck them in as an extra site for the RENIR system for now but I'm not getting anything for ID or site number etc.

Not sure how your scanner works, but on the PSR600 I enter as a conventional channel, or easily as a "tune" frequency, a sort of VFO. The system ID is 14F so the NAC on a VC should appear as 14x depending on the site; I forget the finer details. It helps identify these encrypted channels in case you run across them later while looking for something else.

Not sure which system this is part of, but while out and about today I was able to pick up 153.500 CC 9

Anyone in the area have any more info?

Btw, it's a amazing the distance of stations one can hear while up near Foymount, ON even while mobile. I wasn't even in the village but on a road not far from there and was pulling in stations from all over. I'm gonna take another trip up that way someday and do some serious frequency searching.

I've heard nothing on the other frequency 162.300.

As 153.500 is Cap+ and the rest-channel activity comes and goes, there must be one or more other frequencies involved.

143.52 ► Site 4

I had another look at 143.52.

If this is correct is says Site 4, wherever that is.

These two frequencies seem to belong to site 2:

153.500 1 2 Site 2
143.910 3 4 Site 2

Ttracking of voice comms and CC is correct.

EDIT: TAFL says this is Camp Fortune

Should the database be updated as one system seeing as they have seperate site #s? Or are they still considered seperate systems?
