Heard 388.550 with what appeared to be digital data.
BC296 will try to decode but so far shows DAT when
stopped on active frequency.
Nice catch Steve! My 396 shows 388.550 is on the 303 site. This morning on the 303 site the control channel is rotating amongst the following freqs, never staying on a freq for more than 15 secs:
388.250
388.400
388.550
388.700
388.850
389.4875
On the 101 site the control channel is holding steady on 388.000.

I can receive the signals inside the Opelika Trooper Post (basically a metal building).
I can not receive the old Benning TRS inside the building.
I wish I could say the same thing. I can not receive a signal from inside the Knology NOC in West Point. In fact, I lose the signal after the first big hill heading north on SR 103.

Looks like a Unitrunker trip to the Columbus area is due when I get my new laptop computer.
I have run Unitrunker from the house but it flat out refuses to decode the P25 control channel. It has no problems decoding any other TRS in the area, including Opelika. Any suggestions?
