Finally caught some talkgroups on the 202 system this morning:

1057 ?
1060 ? (all units were using the Charlie callsign)

These were not test comms but rather real training comms complete with weapons fire in the background. Voice channels were 386.2875, 386.5875, 388.1125, 388.2625.

It has been nearly 3 months since I found the initial control channel for this system. Since then a lot has happened. Here's what I have so far:

[FREQUENCIES]

Site 101
386.0750 / 386.2250 / 388.0000

Site 202
386.1375 / 386.2875 / 386.4375 / 386.5875 / 386.7375 / 386.9500 / 388.1125 / 388.2625 / 388.4125 / 388.5625

Site 303
388.2500 / 388.5500 / 388.7000 / 388.8500 / 389.4875

[TALKGROUPS]

These have been hard to ID since I have been working days the past several months and the activity on nights and weekends has been minimal.

[NOTES]

With the exception of Site 101, all of the above was culled from the UniTrunker program, which I finally got working by very precisely adjusting the mic input. Site 101 is too weak for UniTrunker to decode and barely works on the Uniden 396.

Based purely upon signal strength, I would guess that site 101 is located in the southern part of the base, site 102 in the northern part, and site 103 in between.

I have noticed some interoperability between the P25 system and the old EDACS system. For instance, units in the field have called Range Control on the P25 system but Control has answered back on the EDACS system.

Just curious if any of you knew who is built the system, Motorola or M/A Com?

Thanks

It should be Motorola, or EF Johnson, as the latter of the two has had several P-25 winning bids lately with the U.S. Armed Forces.
