06:15: I have been monitoring some type of possibly emergency management traffic on 42960 (OKC Site). It sounds like an excercise: A situation such as decribed would qualify as breaking news with continuous coverage.

There has been very little traffic, it sounds as if the talkgroup is used to relay reports to a collection point.

Considering the four surrounding talkgroups (42832, 42864, 42896 and 43056) are all State Emergency Management, and that your traffic indicates EM use as well, do you think that is fair game for assuming EM use on that TG?

At this point, I don't think that it is prudent to assume anything. I do, however, think that it is a very interesting talkgroup.
