Oh My God !

Oh my God! So I guess this is all top secret squirrel stuff, huh?

I give up.

I did a search and look what I found..... Oh My God !

Fully tested public releases will continue, but less frequently,
probably every 4 to 6 months.

In light of the extra workload the Fast Lane program will create,
the DSD+ team is asking Fast Laners for:

US$10 for one year of Fast Lane updates

US$25 for unlimited Fast Lane updates

Donations above these amounts are welcomed, but it's up to you.
We're not looking to get rich here. Funds will be used for things like
needed hardware upgrades.

Funds can be sent our Paypal account (dsdplusfastlane@gmail.com)

Please include a comment that specifies the email address that
your Fast Lane updates should be sent to.

Some antivirus programs don't like packed exe files. I'm sure if there was a legitimate virus concern there would be lots of discussion about it on here.

Agreed.

I have Windows 7, and it won't allow me to change the new DSDPlus 1.092 download they sent me from a ".Zap" to .Zip, how on earth do I do that?

Click on the file. Either hit F2 or right click and select rename. Right cursor over to the end of the highlighted name. Backspace backspace. 'ip' instead of 'ap'. Hit enter. Accept the warning about changing file extension. Done.

The only options it gives me is "download as .Zip or save to onedrive", when I right click the file.... :-(

Could it be an issue that it was sent to an MSN email address?

I appreciate that, I forwarded it to a different email address and got it downloaded, but now when I try to "Extract all" it states "to protect your computer, windows has blocked access to this file"

"cc.bat"

Is there a workaround for this?

And thanks for your assistance

When I try to open it (Win 7) it states "The program can't start because the lame_enc.DLL is missing from your computer"

RRR, You will want to download and extract/install the latest public release of DSD+. Then extract your fast lane update into the same folder and overwrite all files which already exist when asked. Think of the public release as your "foundation" and the fast lane as additional features to the public release.
There are certain things which will be needed that are common to each version and they will be in place already when you apply the fast lane update overtop of the public release in it's existing folder.
Hope this clarifies things a bit for you. ;)

Somebody doesn't read instructions.

Setup
-----

The DSD+ 1.092 files should be copied to an existing DSD+ 1.074, 1.080 or 1.090 folder.

If you do not have a DSD+ folder set up yet, go to DSDPlus.com and download
the most recent public version of DSD+ (currently 1.074) and unzip all of the
files to a folder on your PC. We recommend using C:\DSDPlus

The DSDPlus.txt and FMP.txt files document most of the DSD+ and FMP features;
this file describes any additional features that have been added to these
programs since the 1.074 public release.

The trunking.txt file explains how to use FMP and DSD+ to implement
voice following for NEXEDGE, Connect Plus and Tier III DMR systems.

Thank you, RRBum. Your instructions helped me out, and it seems to be opening just fine. Waiting on my "dongle" to come in now, just wanted to see it load up for now.

I don't have an input now, so I presume it is defaulting to my computers microphone, as I can see the waveform on it when I whistle. I presume when I plug the Dongle in and get it set up, this will change?

And Slice, I did read the instructions. RRBum was much more precise and helpful as to my particular issues. This is my first time doing anything at all with DSD. I do appreciate the constructive assistance.
