New DTRS Site

State Radio Techs headed up to Buffalo Pass in Jackson County this morning, possibly new site I don't see it listed.

Using Radio Tech id of 8001.

I heard techs on the system earlier today as well. I heard one tech ask what site number "cedar" was. The other tech replied "21". Does anyone know where cedar is? Is it the same site mentioned earlier?

Cedar Mountain is T-0215 and is located in Moffatt County.

Primary control channel for that site is 868.9750

I recall reading a while back that the northwest region was next to be implemented. Glad to see it is actually happening.

Very slowly, many of those control channels have been on the air for over a year but no agencies can afford the radios and/or the complete links are not in-place.

Pretty much West of the Eisenhower Tunnel no DTRS use except for Montrose and Mesa Counties.

Anyone know when the state system is going to be used in the Summit County area?

The link has still not been established from Lake Hill to Craig Dispatch and they are going to try to get that working before winter and if so CSP here "might" on by Winter but otherwise it will be sometime in mid-2005.
