I'm curious what this is for. I've got family in EDH and they're analog only.

EDH Fire

It's kind of a issue right now but El Dorado Hills has been wanting to move their dispatch from Camino to Sac Regional. The issue is that El Dorado Hills pay approx. $100k per year for service from Camino and moving to Sac Regional is going to cost 1.5 Million per year + the infastructure. They may also being using these frequencies for data. Who Knows.

He's pulling these out of the APCO grants. Consider it more like FCC info. You know it's there but you never know when or how it will be used.

Interesting, I think this will be the first in a HUGE 700mhz frequency grab by local agencies in the Sacramento area. It seems like nobody has really licensed 700 mhz other than the state. People are waiting to hear about the FirstNet project progress. It should be really interesting and exciting to see what happens.
