Caught a early morning Mazda flt this morning before work with some A10's from MI Ang -

273.000 -A\A ( Normal callsign is Demon) Leader said AR would be on 391.0
292.175 ZOB - We are meeting up with Gold Tanker for AR
256.800 ZOB - Mazda flt

Had to take off for work so I punched in the 273.000 a\a in my handheld and caught some more chatter half way to work.

Hey guys, found a semi new 1, thought I'd share it with you. I --think-- it is the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. 142.600--DC--032 ( repeater ) . At 12 miles away as the crow flies, that signal gives my FERRET antenna 5 bars. The control freq I am familiar with is 140.900---DC-023. Also repeater

Nice catch!
That would have been the MAZDA31 flight ( 4 X A-10s) headed direct Lajes.
Boom freq for the GOLD71 (87-0119, KC-10A) was was 391.000

More B-52s in the NE

We have two B52s from Barksdale AFB returning home. Two tankers are headed North to Stephenville Airport (CYJT). IGOR02 (61-0298, KC-135R) IGOR01 (62-3578, KC-135R).Picking up the JOINT41/42 Bombers for their scheduled refuel on AR20-SW. Estimate IP at 2221Z. Tanker interplane is 303.000. (Via Comms, PP and LiveATC) 2157Z

(Note: This is not the RAIDER11 that just finished refuel on AR20SW this afternoon.)

Yep...I also had them here Tech. JOINT-41 talking to Boston Center on 290.350. Also copied what sounded like DRAPER- 1 on 290.300.

Getting LURCH-20 talking with Boston Center on 370.900. I had LURCH-15 passing EAM traffic with a TACAMO on 11175 kHz earlier. I can't seem to find a LURCH call sign in any database but sounds like a bomber. Time 2:34 PM local

Right now there are at least 4 LURCH (possibly B-52s) flying around Gander and Goose Bay. lots of traffic on HF (11175) Lots of comms on LiveATC (CYYT).
