Perhaps slightly off forum, but very useful for those systems folks whom read here. Here is an email I sent to a friend and attached is the FCC reference that will avoid license holders having to re coordinate existing licenses. This is good news. This should be done once the rule change takes effect. You cannot increase mobile count nor ERP.
"I assume you are registered with the FCC CORES online.
You should add the required narrowband emission designator
to your licenses above 150 MHZ (except 800 trunked) using the administrative update feature on CORES.
So for the narrowband transition you will have both wide and narrow emission designators on the license."
