New Fed P25 System - Bay Area / Central Valley?

While searching the bands today I came upon what I believe to be a new P25 system in the federal UHF band. Here's what I have so far from DSD+FL...

This site is Mt. Diablo strong from Martinez. The only 98D I see in the DB is in Kentucky, so this is either new or the skip today is phenomenal .

Not anymore. Last one was Oakland Army Base in the 90's. Nearest thing would be Camp Parks RFTA in Dublin, but they already have a system. I can't hear them from here though, so unknown if this is perhaps a replacement system.

Got it here in Martinez as well. Signal is stronger than what I typically see for EBRCS. You missed Channel ID 0.

I'm receiving the signal on an external antenna in South Sacramento. Today, the control channel is 386.10, with the other three frequencies listed as secondary control channels (385.35, 386.20, 386.75).

It's OP25 running the upcoming version of the Web UI. Will be released very soon.

I parked DSDPlus on this system overnight, and was able to catch some activity. Radios are in the 81xxxxx range. All traffic is encrypted.

That’s correct, We have a 98D system here in Richmond, KY. The system serves as the primary communications network for the Blue Grass Army Depot, one of only two facilities left in the Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program (CSEPP).

I’ve noticed that the Fort Knox system shares the same WACN ID with Fort Benning as well as Fort Bliss. It seems to be a common WACN ID used by the U.S. Army.

Interesting timing though on your post… the Blue Grass Army Depot switched their SYS ID, WACN, NAC, etc just a few months before your post.

I’d agree with @ecps92 that the Army has gone wide area and that the DB should be updated to reflect and consolidate all the shared systems.

It seems to be a common WACN ID used by the U.S. Army.

That WACN (BEE00) is the default for most if not all Motorola-built systems.

I'm curious what the use is around here for this system.

I was referring to the Ft Knox WACN, not the default BEE00 WACN that’s being used on this system.
