Doing some searching from the I285/GA400 area and found two weak control channels in the 380 Fed band, 386.5500 is showing 1eh-0808 and 388.7000 is showing 1eh-1010. I don't have unitrunker available and I have not heard any voice traffic. Both control channels have a funny sounding digital burst every second or so I have never heard before.

As I stated I was on the north side of Atlanta some 120+ miles from the Ft. Benning area, and the system ID is 1eh not 01e, but hey thanks for the link to the Ft. Benning system.

The sites you heard are networked sites that are part of the Ft. Benning system. The Uniden radios blank out the leading zero, so a system ID of 01e would show up as 1e. The H indicates the value is hexadecimal. There is no "h" digit in a hexadecimal system ID or talk group.

In looking at the Ft. Benning system, it has a site in Dawson County, I suspect where the Rangers train up in north Georgia. I can only imagine, Firemedic2150, that you may be hearing the control channel from that site.
