New fire dept in Monroe County

After months of legal disputes between Tobyhanna Twp and the Tobyhanna Twp Fire Co, Tobyhanna Twp has established its own Bureau of Fire. TTBF is township owned and operated and went into service around 1400 hours on 4/25 as station 44 and should be operating on Fire West.

They’re responding to calls. They have 1 engine and I imagine some members from station 41 have switched, seeing as how the Township won’t let station 41 respond within the twp.
