While scanning, I discovered a NXDN control channel on 452.35625. I ran it through DSD+ and it is Fleettalk site 18. I did a license search and the same frequency is licensed to the same Fleettalk dealer in both White County and Elbert County. Can someone in those areas listen and see if the signal is in one of those locations so this can be added to the database? Here is the license WQYM209

I am monitoring frequency 461.075 in my area. It shows up as belonging to System 15. Site 14. Ran is 14. neighbor sites are 2, 3, 5, 15 and 22. I do not have a spreadsheet to convert the CC numbers over to frequencies.

How can you find out the frequency associated with a channel number? I have found a couple of new sites and I have the frequencies from the license, but do not know which frequency goes with each channel number.

I usually use 2 SDR's and watch the control channel in DSD plus on the first SDR and then tune to a licensed voice channel in SDR sharp using the second SDR and listen to raw voice channel data and correspond it to the channel number in DSD. If it is a very busy site, it is easy. But if it is a very slow site that only gets a call every 15 or so minutes it takes a while. Currahee is a very slow site and took me forever to find the OTA numbers.

I have a spreadsheet, but there is no numbering system for Fleettalk that I can find. It seems like it is random.

This is a very slow site Hours between transmissions. I will just set each frequency in DSD one at a time and try to get it that way. I know the SC system has a logical pattern of assigning channel numbers to frequency. It seems like this system has no logic to it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you can set up a scan list of the voice frequencies in FMP24. Won't DSD+ decode channel numbers on each transmission and log that in the event log?

I will do that Brian and monitor it again tomorrow. It is a high school that is using it on the talk groups that I have been able to ID. Thanks

FYI: The event file does not give both the frequency and the channel number. Depending how you monitor the system, you either get one or the other. Not both.
