I live in Evansville Indiana, and we just opened a new stadeum. It's called the Ford Center, but is that what I type in to the fcc database? I don't think so, but I don't know what company name it would use, or how I might go about finding that out. Should I look up a parent or managing company, if so where would I look? Yes, I could go down there with my scanner and evesdrop. I'm sure I could find it, but I'd like to be able to look this up, because that way, I know what to do when I only know the marketed title of a business nd not the official name. It could help me in the future.

Also, Reba's coming to town this Friday. Does anyone know of any frequencies used by her crew? If I find any, I'll post them here as well as Ford Center freqs.

One approach is to find the exact Lon/lat of the stadium and see what licenses are there, using the RR location app,
http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?action=fccProx&lat=37.97317&lon=-87.56794&r=.2 for what I believe is the location. http://local.yahoo.com/info-8973432...V.tLVt.lf4emSAXq7YQGKNcIF;_ylv=3?viewtype=map Looks like the county is the closest tower, but that does not mean they handle the Ford Center. Based on this..."The project operates under the control of the Evansville Redevelopment Commission", WPBJ903 would be a logical candidate, except that it is expired.

If they are using a security firm with HQ somewhere else, or even a parent company located somewhere else, this method may not work. Here's another search that did not work, so you are going to have a tougher time.

A visit may be the only answer.
