For those of you who monitor Halifax County, you may have noticed silence on the Fire/EMS channel. Due to some interference issues, the repeater frequency needed to be changed. Thus the new Freq is 155.8425 186.2 PL. All paging and voice is now on this new freq. This replaces 155.730 which is now silent.
There has also been a new County designation called "Halifax County Emergency Services". This operates on 154.040 146.2 PL. This repeater is used for any county wide incidents that would need coordination of multiple agencies such as disasters, MCI, search and rescue, etc...
