ah um - well? im thinking about the uhf band..edacs is
ok but i dont have a radio , and i have one for just about anything except motorola type II trunk and edacs..I dont know where i can get a unit (inexpensively)
and who/where i can get it programmed without a hassle.. and scanners are not worth $300 to just listen to 800/900/450 trunk...Like to find a portable with a good audio amp ...But thanks for your input

No problem...the Bearcat BC245, I think, has gone down in price to around 199...it tracks EDACS as well as Motorola...check it out and see. You also might find something pre-owned on ebay! Have fun
