I was doing a frequency search the other day and came up with some frequencies I couldn't find in the database for my area. I listen to the Kootenai county Idaho and Spokane Wa. Frequencies daily and would like to know if these are valid frequencies.
147.300>Sounds like LE
769.55625>Kootenai County Sherriff on this one. (Digital)
128.4500>This sounds like a medical helicopter. Don't know if it is Spokane or Idaho.
764.40625>Kootenai County LE
769.11875>Kootenai County LE
956.53125>Kootenai County LE
All of the above frequencies are very active and come in loud and clear. Anyone with info on these could you please pass it on? Thanks for reading my post.

147.3000 is Amateur Radio not Public Safety, your likely hearing a Ham Repeater or an image from a PS freq.

Depending on your scanner, the 700's could also be an image from the 800 TRS

the 955 is definately an image as the 900 TRS is 935-940 and typically Business no Public Safety

what make/model scanner

That 935-940 is definetly pulbic safety. Was listening to it this morning and it was ISP investigating a truck accident. I'm using the Pro-197 scanner.

There are no public safety allocations in the 935-940 MHz band unless they are operating on a private SMR repeater or trunked system. There are some public safety point to point links in the 928-935 and 941-960 MHz bands. Get somebody with a scanner or receiver made by Uniden or another manufacturer to see if they hear the same thing. They probably won't. RS/GRE scanners are notorious for receiving images. That is most likely what you heard.

As has been said, searching with a GRE made scanner can result in numerous images of strong signals in your area and can result in more questions than answers

769.55625(Blanchard) and 769.11875 (Post Falls)are already in the database.
Idaho Cooperative Agencies Wireless Interoperable Network (ICAWIN) Trunking System, Statewide, Idaho - Scanner Frequencies

On the 700MHz Idaho trunked system you don't need to worry about individual frequencies, just make sure you have the correct control channel for each transmitter site programmed in your scanner. There are six control channels you should have programmed for the northern Idaho 700 system.
774.49375 - Sweitzer Peak
774.68125 - Blanchard
774.16875 - Post Falls
774.38125 - Coeur d'Alene
774.65625 - Worley
773.38125 - Harrison

ISP is now using crossband repeaters and simulcasting on 460 MHz and 700 MHz, so you will hear ISP on 700 MHz(TG 46100 in the Coeur d'Alene area ), although it is not always 100% of the time.

Hi michaelmikesj

128.4500 is Mullan Pass, ID RCAG. Could have been an Medstar Helicopter or Lifeflight.
