I’m assuming this changes the dimensions of Sector 97 significantly, but I haven’t seen a new map. Probably splits 97 along the 77/87 boundary.

the details on Yeager Sector. It’s a Super High (FL350 and above), Sector #74. 135.425/379.975.

Thanks for the update.

Probably splits 97 along the 77/87 boundary.

That would be my guess too. And cross-coupled with 133.775 ?

I think that map likely nails it. I imagine 74 will combine to 97 or vice versa in slower conditions.

Any comments on the accuracy of the adjacent sectors on my map/notes ? It's been a few years since I checked that area so maybe a bit out of date.

ZOB02-ZOB07-ZOB47, do these sectors usually combine ? Is ZOB46 frequency 135.375 used very often ? Like this new ZID74 sector I think it was setup mostly for area coverage and is usually combined with ZOB45 ?

ZID78-ZID88, in the past when combined they seemed to use 120.575 as the primary, but now with frequency cross-coupling I suspect they just use both ? Same with ZID66-ZID76 and ZID79-ZID85 ?

I really don't have any insight on that. At TOL when we have people climb out the top, they always go to 128.62 and we always coordinate with Pandora, 24/7 regardless of their combine/split status. I was at ZOB several years ago for classes and plugged in at 02 for a while to monitor. It was the middle of the afternoon, December, slow, and he was also working 07, but I'm not sure how the work it today. I know we have four sectors stacked above us (02, 07, 47, 46) but I'm not sure how the splits/combines/frequency cross-couples work. I know I've heard traffic on all four frequencies listening at home, even in the dead of night when you'd expect sectors to be combined. I do think 46 is typically combined to 45 however just from where traffic is on ADS-B when transmitting on 45's freq.

Thanks for the reply. It backs up what I have. I don't think much has changed recently ?

They aren’t used anymore - Flight Watch discontinued all their frequencies a while back when they did away with EFAS. This is a new sector for ZID.
I looked at Flight Watch's 'About' page. There has been no update from the website Admin, in three years.

Where aviation data is concerned. I only trust AirNav . Because they are consistently current.
