I got it programmed but no traffic is coming acrossAs premium subscriber to this site you can just download the system and talkgroups you wish to monitor with the G5 into the PPS
You still need to decide and configure which talkgroups you what or each knob position.
What are you trying to receive? What did you"Program" in it??As title says, I am new to the Unication G5 and total lost on programing it. All YT videos are 7+ years old and the PPS software has advanced a lot since then. Any help would be amazing!

That is like saying I put gas in the car but it is not running. You really need to tell us more about the system you programmed, how you programmed it, your profiles, and settings so we can help you.I got it programmed but no traffic is coming across
Interesting, where did this come from? What did it cover? What site did it connect to?So I found a code plug for my area
What sheriff's department? How did you add it? What screen were you on in the CPS when you added it?I added the sheriffs dept and programmed the scanner
Does it receive the fire stuff on the PPS you loaded into the pager?I am in Northwest Ohio Regional Public Safety System) but it didn't have the sheriffs dept just a bunch of fire channels.
So I found a code plug for my area ( I am in Northwest Ohio Regional Public Safety System) but it didn't have the sheriffs dept just a bunch of fire channels. I added the sheriffs dept and programmed the scanner but when I am on the sheriff channel I added there is a steady red light
Thank you for telling us the cause, so others with this problem can see what the issue may be.I got it figured out my so is encrypted @&(;(?)!;,?
So I am trying to listen to Springfield Twp fire. I've imported from RR the talkgroups under unified fire and ops15 but nothing comes over. Any ideas?Posted on 2021-10-17 =
Lucas county will be undergoing a huge consolidation of dispatch talk groups dealing with law enforcement and fire. Toledo Police will not be changing anything as of now other than the addition of Washington Twp police dept being dispatched by Toledo Police Central Dispatch.
All other law enforcement is being consolidated into two new dispatch groups
Lucas County Northwest - 60000 Northwest - Richfield Twp (Sheriff units), Berkey Village Police, Sylvania Twp, Sylvania City, Harding Twp (Sheriff units), Spencer Twp (Sheriff units), Springfield Twp (Sheriff units), Holland PD
Lucas County Southeast - 60016
Southeast - Swanton Twp (Sheriff units), Providence Twp (Sheriff units), Whitehouse Village, Waterville Twp PD, Waterville City PD, Monclova Twp (Sheriff units), Maumee, Oregon, Jerusalem Twp (Sheriff units)
By November 2, 2021 all dispatch channels for said law enforcement agencies will be consolidated into the two talkgroups for Lucas County
Toledo Police will remain unchanged other than they now dispatch Washington Twp Police Dept on their central dispatch chan
The only sheriff dispatch TG that is listed 12200. That’s emergency all call. Once the dispatchers consolidation was finished, the sheriff units have been dispatched as above.
Same frequency or same talk group? If it's the same talk group # then no, You will need to get the tones. The big city near me dispatches my local TWP FD on P25. Problem is, they dispatch multiple departments on the same frequency. Is there a way I can isolate my department from the rest so I don't have to hear a city i don't want to hear? I've looked into possibly doing it by tone only but can't find my TWP FD tones.
If it is same frequency yes, by entering just your TG, but if it is the same TG being shared, then no.The big city near me dispatches my local TWP FD on P25.
