Didn't see that at first. I wonder why, don't they already have a site on goat mtn?

Those aren't actually for Washington County - they're to supplement the C800 system temporarily. I didn't save the original PDF, but a while ago, I read that there were serious gaps in coverage throughout the county.

Gales Peak in Washington County was originally part of the application, but it was eventually removed and Goat Mountain remained.

Goat Mountain & P25

Am slow on the up take. Looked up Goat Mountain on Google map {sigh}. Worst I am a native.

Is Washington County (WCCA) going digital (P25) this year?

Please no!

I think it has been stated here previously. There is a plan for Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark counties to all go to a large digital system. Portland is well on the way.
It could be a funding issue with the others.
joescanner knows a lot more about it than I do.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 4.1.1; Nexus 7 Build/JRO03D) AppleWebKit/535.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/18.0.1025.166 Safari/535.19)

After pouring through WCCCA's financial docs on their website, digital isn't going to happen anytime soon - yes, they probably will be in the next 4 to 6 years, but it's not in the plans (yet). They ARE planning to implement a new microwave link with Portland within the next year, and they do have that new zone controller, so we know it's getting closer.

And you're right, Dick - funding is an issue right now due to less revenue from 911 taxes...they did emphasize that several times.
