I purchased a bc340crs scanner after I did the find a scanner that would work for me thing. I found the codes to enter in for my area but nothing happens after when I scan ? Not sure if it matters but I can't put all the numbers in, 154.3800, can't get the last 2 zeros ?
I only used channels 1-10
Am I missing something ?

Zeros to the right are void, so 154.38 would be all you would need to enter, however 154.380 is not a valid frequency. It would be 154.385.

FYI: You list your location as Kokomo but you don't list the state.

Assuming you are in Indiana it appears that Kokomo, IN public safety uses the Howard County Public Safety EDACS trunked system which can not be received with your scanner. (Click on the underlined link to view what agencies use this system).

It all depends on what you want to listen too but I just wanted to make you aware of what you may be missing. You may want to post in your state forum, introduce yourself and what model of scanner you are using, and inquire as to what frequencies are in use in your area.

You would need a analog trunktracker scanner. This link shows the current analog trunktracker scanners.

Trunking Police Scanner Radios
