HELLO EVERYONE !!!!!!

First I want to say I finially got my tickett I passed my Tech. Today 1/10/2009 :D:D

Ok I was informed today that Kershaw county has started up a new Ham club in Camden
which will be my local Ham club now , but if anyone in the near by area would like to join the club we meet on the second thursday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Camden Red cross 632 West Dekalb st. camden ,sc 29020

congrats and welcome to the fun world of amateur radio, I have a couple ham friends that live near casset (sp?) and areas. Keep studying while it is fresh on your mind and shoot for General. If you have not purchased a ham right yet look into some Icom D-Star equipment. you will really enjoy D*.

Yea i bought me the Yaesu FT60R and working with that for now untill i get me General then im going to move up. The scanner I don't monitor much anymore. On the scanners i got them but i play with the ham stuff now. Well when i get my call sign I will give you a shout out whats your call sign ill listen to the scanners and radio to see if i here ya every now and then. I will let you know when my call sign comes in the mail or is entered in the data base.
What frequency's do you monitor and talk on a lot ill put them in the scanner and radio and listen in on it here and there

Ok everyone I just wanted to let everyone know my call sign finally came in so for those of you who ever get on the PALSNET OR FORTJACKSON Repeater give me a shout out.

Also I want to remind everyone in the Camden , Lugoff and all the close by areas or anyone doesn't matter were you live, that Camden has got a new Ham club and they meet on February the 12th at 6:30pm in Camden and will be held at the American Red Cross
at 632 West Dekalb St Camden , SC 29020 right across from the Social Security Office parking Area and beside of the DHEC Office.

Hello everyone :D:D

I wanted to remind everyone that the New Ham club in camden will meet this thursday the 12th at 6:30pm at the Red Cross 632 West Dekalb st. Camden ,SC 29020, in Camden right behind the court house to your left from the Old Kershaw county Sheriff Office and right straight across from the Social security office parking area .
We will be taking dues from those who want to become full time members dues are $25 a year for single ham member and $35 dollars a year for family membership Please don't let this scare you away from coming if you are unable to pay dues thats fine pay them next time if you just want to come and check the club out thats fine as well we welcome you
You do not have to pay dues unless you are wanting to become a member of the New club in camden so everyone please come check it out we will love to have ya.

Update on Kershaw county , SC Camden New Ham Club

02.10.09 Just a reminder, the KCARC (Kershaw County Amateur Radio Club) will meet @ 6:30 PM (1830 hours) Thursday, February 12, 2009. The meeting will be at the American Red Cross Office at 632 West DeKalb Street Camden, SC. The American Red Cross Office is located in the rear of the building. Please use the DeKalb street entrance to the parking area ONLY !!!!!!!.
