Who you might ask? Me, I passed my test today 3-10-07, can't wait to see my name in the FCC Data Base. Once i get my Callsign I will be talking to all you Operators out there :)

Yes, Thank you all the web-sites helped, the QRZ pratice tests really helped. Also I found a copy of the currect Manual at my local library and checked it out!!! The reading along with the pratice tests did the job, I missed 2 on the exam, WOW

You will, I was nervous but the QRL site is very good, just keep taking those tests, and when you pass them every time you try them, you have the material down pact

Now I just need advise on how to get started, I want to start off small and slow to get my feet wet so I was thinking a portable or something i can have with me most of the time just to listen and hear. I signed up as a weather spotter for this area so I guess I need a portable if I'm going to be following storms this spring and summer... Any suggestions are GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!
