Anybody in the area that can monitor this system to see if it's used?
Washington Gas Light Corp (NEW) Trunking System, Northeast, West Virginia - Scanner Frequencies
I found it last week but wasn't in the area long enough to do more than find it.

Some months back another frequency on that system was running an MPT1327 control channel, and if i recall correctly the license even reflects an emission designator more indicative of MPT1327. I heard it for a few weeks and then haven't heard it any longer.

Now you're saying its up on a different licensed frequency as P25. Wish they would make up their minds ;)

If you live in the eastern panhandle check out 153.0425, 153.0725, 153.3575 and 153.6875. Do you get control channels and can you run Pro96Com or Unitrunker on them?

Here is a more detailed list of proposed sites. Only Romney has been confirmed online.

Code:
Moorefield, WV (HARDY) 153.0725 153.2975 153.6125

Kirby, WV (HAMPSHIRE) 153.1925 153.3725 153.5825

Romney, WV (HAMPSHIRE) 153.0425 153.2675

Wardensville, WV (HAMPSHIRE) 153.6875

Ridge, WV (HAMPSHIRE) 153.3575

If anyone lives within these areas and can check the above frequencies for P25 control channels, please report back on your findings.

If you do discover a P25 control channel and have a digital scanner, please obtain as much informattion as you can (System ID, Site ID, WACN, NAC, control channel frequency), and if you have the ability to run Pro96Com or Unitrunker, secondary control channel and site neighbors would be useful too.

Although Romney has been confirmed online sometime back, it'd also be useful to have this same information for that site.

Thanks!

153.0725 P25 trunked -- SysID: 028 -- Site 101 -- Site NAC 017

It's fading in and out. And it wouldn't be surprising that I could pick up something from Hardy Co - I routinely hear stuff from that area all the way up here in JEfferson Co Ohio.

This isn't the first time I've heard this, but it's been quite a while since I've heard it.

There is also now a Kirby site listed on the WQIC699 license.

153.1925
153.3725
153.5825

If anyone is around Kirby WV area with a digital scanner, they might want to see if there is an active control channel on one of the above freqs.

I'm also vaguely hearing the control channel (153.6875) for Site 202 Wardensville, although too weak to get a Pro96Com decode on.

Talkgroups 3000 / 2000 / 1000 patched to some 64xxx talkgroup. The signal won't hold long enough for me to really monitor it [and i doubt anything is going on right now anyway].

I didn't realize we already had "Washington Gas" viewable in the DB. I updated that one instead. Should reflect the most current information for Site 101 (I just monitored tonight) as well as the information that you provided for Sites 202, 303, 404.
