Is New Hanover in the Burlington Co. system? If so, what TG are they in? If not, where can I listen to them?

I was coming through Cookstown this morning and they were either doing inspection checks or looking for sombody. The officer only looked at my face for a brief second and said, "You are free to go". I asked him if they were looking for sombody and he snapped back with, "I said, you are free to go, Sir" I hit the pedel and moved on.

I'm not sure, so I'll do some looking for you, but New Hanover cops are a bit of hard-asses. My buddy is a MOS for Montclair Twp., and he got a speeding ticket from them during a late-night drive a few years back down 537.

The officer told him 'We don't care who you are'...

Thanks. I drive through Cookstown every day, twice a day and they are always pulling people over on that small stretch. I listen to the Burlington TRS and Ocean Co. system which includes New Egypt but i don't think I have ever heard New Hanover.

OK, New Hanover is on the north zone, P-4 is their talkgroup. Cars are 3801 to 3899. They also patrol Wrightstown Borough.

New Hanover is on Burlington County's TRS. North-East Zone

They are a Part Time police department and only have 2 officers and a chief.

They only patrol the New Hanover/Cookstown area. NJSP is responsible for Wrightstown.
