New Hardin County Freqs!

The list of "new" Hardin County freqs is in but not posted yet.... need some help confirming information before they are committed to history....
These are the raw freqs as listed on WQGJ505 granted 07 Feb 2007:

Based upon submissions and other information from a number of Hardin County Scanner listeners I have pidgeon-holed the freqs thusly:

Fire/EMS
151.070 154.085 WQGJ505 BM 127.3 PL F-1 Hardin Co.Fire
155.970 WQGJ505 BM 146.2 PL F-2 Hardin Co. Fire
159.180 153.8825 WQGJ505 BM 114.8 PL or 110.0 PL Hardin Co. EMS DSP

Law Enforcement
156.210 154.040 WQGJ505 BM 85.4 PL F-1 Hardin Co. Sheriff
158.7525 WQGJ505 M 103.5 PL F-2 Hardin Co. Sheriff Mutual Aid

Please listen to these and let me know what is correct or incorrect about them.... also, if you have room, plug in all the freqs in the top list and see what you hear and pass that along as well.... will try to clean up the Hardin County listing as the info comes in...

Cool... that's an awesome start! Let a few more replies filter in and I will start fixing tonight or tomorrow.... One of my concerns is removing freqs from the "old" list that might still be in use.... the EMS to hospital freqs will remain valid under the "new" listings at this point I'm going to assume.... would anyone object to a box of "new" freqs while moving the replaced freqs to an "old" box 'til we get the list scrubbed?

I'd bet SO#2 is 155.970 (although I have it as FD #2)--it received special attention due to the potential for interference on a number of systems nearby....

Thanx.... will add the "new" box sometime during the day Friday and keep the "old" info in another box so marked until we get the lists scrubbed....
Plz check the lists to make sure what is listed is what everyone hears.....

The "NEW" and "OLD" boxes are in place..... the new freq listing is based primarily on the information from WQGJ505 at the FCC ULS site... This list will probably have a few mistakes therein, so PLZ listen and submit the corrections... as I understand it there are special conditions ascribed to 155.970 so that will be the freq of concern....

Hardin Co Freq's

I live in the west end of Meade co. Have listened to Hardin co. for yrs. Since the new systems went in noticed very weak signals compared to the old systems. in the last two days noticed and improvement in the EMS repeater on 159.180. Don't know if it is conditions or they improved the antenna. Also hear some activity on the Police repeater on 156.210. But it is not very strong. Heard a rumor the Fire Depts are completely dissatisfied with 155.970 and are going back to the old Channel.

Keep us posted on what you monitor.... one of the reasons for the changes was to reduce interference--especially on 155.970.... thanx for the update!
