In New Haven County there is a Waterbury trunked system. Does anybody know if this is an EF Johnson or Harris system?

What WACN is 00001 and if it is a Harris then all control channels should be in RED. Also, I am pretty the P25 Channel ID Table is not correct. If anybody out there really knows this system I would like to get it cleaned up and submit the proper P25 Channel ID Table correctly. I am a bit from Waterbury or I would use my SDR Dongle with SDR TRUNK. I would be-able to figure it all out real quick. But there has to be somebody around New Haven County that would know this information to get it correct and then I can submit the correct changes. Thanks if anybody has insite about this system

It is an EF Johnson system and not all channels are control channel capable. If it was a Harris system, and they were, I would've marked them as such.

The P25 table was submitted as such. If it's wrong, feel free to send a correction.

So I program all day and the ASTRO P25 Channel ID's that are listed are only for Motorola standarized. They did right with 700/800 mhz channel ID's When come to VHF and UHF=-1 and UHF-2 then the channel ID table usually are roughly 10 to 14 table lines.

I first would find out if they are fully EJ Johnson or Harris. The best way is using SDRTRUNK on a laptop and sniff the control I love SDRTRUNK.

This tool is awesome because teaches you on how the towers are transmitting on a simulcast towers and this could 3 or 20 or 40 sites and maybe more. If I had the option tonight I would go and sniff the channel ID's and be done in 5 minutes. Some of these small systems either EF Johnson and Harris used flavors of the ASTRO P25 Channel ID's I was told that the talkgroup opens up but its muted. Straigt its the ASTRO P25 Channel ID's that are configured correctly.

If anybody is in the area and loves using their SDR Dongle can please help us. It's for any bad way. It's for us to all have as if you have a priemnum account. I really do not want any troolers please. People like to jump in make assumptions. Let's all just stop doing for everyone. Everyone really doesn't know why a login would be doing any negative by asking for the Channel ID's. There is a lot paid radio tech that use this web site to take data and it keeps getting better. I think people always think nefarious and NAS. There are people that want to make the database is updated and slowly over time will be absolutely with data and AI technology. Lets all just get all of this data and make a 100 percent. As to this radio system for Waterbury its a Phase I FDMA and it would nice to see an officers HT radio and then we know. Take the SDR and go sniff. Absolutely will be perfect.

Your first step is already done, it's an Atlas system.

Trying to figure out if those posts are using AI or a translate program or perhaps voice to text without reading before hitting "post reply".
I would imagine that any authorized system user would have their radios programmed by a legit company or tech that would simply call up Waterbury's IT or radio person and have 100% accurate info without needing to go to RR for info.
The bandplan on this site works for the system. If there is no Phase 2 or 900 MHz channels, why would that info be necessary?

They're using the "diarrhea of the mouth" mode with whatever program they are using.

I think next time you should be a little more condescending. You certainly weren't enough in that word salad you just posted.

sniff the control.
Im sorry but my nose is not long enough to smell the control channel from here. Although yours may be with all the lies you just told Pinocchio.

Seriously tho. Do you have any idea what you are talking about? Or are you just another troll who says the database is wrong and argues with no evidence of your claim? Like everyone else.

jesus thats a hellish bandplan, what in gods name is EFWood doing...

Copying MSI, that's been the default bandplan for 700/800 ASTRO 25 systems for a few years now (minus the last element)

When you glance at the Waterbury bandplan, you can easily miss that the #0 entry (800 6.25k) is off from standard as well. It has been that way since they first went P25. I don't know if it was intentional or was a missed zero when it was created. I recall having to enter a custom band plan to get it working but since it was a switch from the old Multi-Net and you could monitor again without the laptop and LTR-Trunker, it was a small price to pay.

The 900 is standard on many bandplans, he is referring to the #15 that is posted. I haven't monitored Waterbury in a while, that is relatively new but the info is what they have used for years.

Thank You. I will just ask at a level of complete respect and from a guy who has DSD and was able to post the Astro 25 Channel ID's great. Its not about anything that people pin point about. It's about making this site better and more data that we look at and find errors we ask and then we get the correct answers. Next step is the admins take this data and update RR.com with the correct channel ID's and we move forward. Everyone gets in a mode of weirdo stuff and it was a basic question to get the RR.com database more better for the greater good.

Just take this holiday weekend and be grateful for life and living a good life. Let's just be all good to each other on this site. Too many mouth breathers and trust me eventually it only matters when we get the correct information and another system and sites and talk groups get updated for the greater good moving forward with AI and tools to help us all out down the road. Okay. Please just be kind to everyone because everyone down the road will need help when they need it.

It was added to the DB.

Thanks for more words, Dr. Phil.
I am not Dr. Phil and please understand we do this for the Db and for the greater good of this site. I do not even listen to a scanner anymore. Broadcastify is pretty awesome with short delay of like 10 seconds on some systems. I like the new layout and we keep updating the Db and this site gets better than it already is. Have a great day
