As well as the conventional channels that Linn county IA still uses. Can some of the gurus here point me in the right direction as to what scanner I need to be looking at to track these freqs??
Thanks in advance

Handhelds you have the Uniden BCD396T and the Radio Shack (GRE) Pro-96. Base/Mobile you have the Uniden BCD996T and the Radio Shack (GRE) Pro-2096.

I would recomend waiting for the new GREs (in October) though. The PSR-500 (handheld) and the PSR-600 (base/mobile). They look to be the best of both the 96/2096 and the 396/996.
