I have found a new DMR XPT system in London at Ingredion Canada, they make corn sweetner.

I have set it up as a DMR trunk system

site 1 460.3125
site 2 460.5375
site 3 460.7375
site 4 461.0125
site 5 461.3500

I have logged talk groups 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12

is this the best way to set up a XPT system on a scanner?

I have tried putting all the frequencies in 1 site but that did not work to well, it just sat on 1 frequency and never moved.

Looking for suggestions or advice if I am doing this right

If its trunked you will have to set it up as a trunked system. I am not sure if any scanner supports XPT trunked mode though. Sitting on one freq indicates its not decoding the CC information.

The SDS series supports Hytera XPT but I'm not sure how you would program it. I'd guess a DMR trunking system once you figure out the LCN's.

I'm assuming that there aren't 5 sites but 1 site with 5 repeaters?

If you have Uniden, it can be trunktracked. You have to analyze it to determine LCN location. Is the site that big that it needs all those sites ?
If so, then it can go into Sentinel as, one system, different sites.

I tried putting five frequencies in 1 site but it just locked onto to one frequency and never moved. Maybe I need to figure out the proper LCN.

I am using a BCD536HP

Hey my days are always busy! TAFL also shows 464.1125 registered to them but I believe it's a simplex channel.

I can try to slide by and take a look, but it's the total opposite end of the city from me. Not a lot of places around there to park either to gather info.

Without a doubt, that is the only way to omit the simplex that was mentioned. If the system is active, it will go bye quickly. The other thing is, make sure manually you can hear each one of the 5 frequencies involved. If the highest site is just out of you listening range, it wont analyze it.

Currently monitoring with DSD. Seems 461.3500 has a Colour Code of 7. Group 9 is very active.
Not seeing it as a trunking system tho so could just be a bunch of repeaters with pseudo trunking. Think that shows as XPT also on DSD and a scanner.
