Hi,

I am inquiring about amplified indoor scanner antennas creation using a 'manifestation technique'

What I am referring to is the circuit diagram for use with indoor scanner antenna that would enable the scanner antenna to be much more powerful than one fitted to a house/building roof. This new design would be highly useful for an end-user who lives in an apartment block or similar and/or unable to install an outdoor antenna.

I will use my natural ability to create said diagram to pop into the head of someone at your vicinity or another facility who could best make this 'amplified' antenna design and for it to be a complete and total success.

Please go to my site to see how I've helped many others in different areas:

Excellent news! I for one have been hoping that someone immeasurably more capable than myself would decide to make an antenna consisting of vapo(u)r and coiled string which simultaneously rejects all noise and absorbs all signals with immense efficiency.
i would like to buy two please.

Any obstacles, like a wall, will attenuate a signal so it might be buried below the environmental noise floor and will be impossible to recover. The general noise level, electronic smog, in a room are higher from all electronic products in use. The signal to noise ratio are then lower and will not change when both signal and noise are amplified. The receive circuit in a scanner have a noise figure of something like 4-6dB due to signal loss in bandpass filters and added noise from each component. If a low noise preamplifier with a noise figure of 1dB are used it can raise the signal level above those 4-6dB and improve reception of weak signals.

A roof antenna are often more free from man made interferencies and also transmitters that can interfere are at a greater distance. A preamplifier at the antenna will then overcome all coax and connector losses, as well as a scanners noise figure, and on top of that create a constant impedance load to the antenna independent of the one from the coax. If an isolating splitter then are connected at the other end it will also give a constant impedance to the coax from that end independent of any impedance variations from a scanners front end filters.

I am closing my eyes and visualizing on my desk, an antenna made of Encrusted Zirconium , resting on an insulating bed of Montana Dental Floss. An amplifier tube glows warmly with the aura of Yellow Snow, powered by Pygmy Ponies, with the seductive sound of the Dynamo Hum.

Ooh, a little bit of hum with a sprinkilng of icing is always good. At least everything is healing nicely now. 😉

Your wish is already true! Marketing claims are rampant of sophisticated Chinese super-amplified indoor TV antennas, which would serve admirably for your scanner as well. Some of these wonderful units are rated at 400 mile range, while many others vary from 60 to 300 mile range. Additionally, they will please Your Woman, as they are described as "sleek", "stylish", "powerful", and having the highly desirable "contemporary" design!

You can have all that magical stuff. For me, this antenna is king.

That said, I have been making tests with a general scanner and one of those active tv/radio panel antennas and it’s actually pretty good. If you’re an apartment dweller and can tape/sucker one to a window then you can get pretty reasonable performance for tiny cost.
