I over heard at the end of the semester that chief Johnson of WCU PD is looking to put ems 20 on a totally independent channel instead of having the medical response on the same channel as the PD. I heard this from one of the PD's secretaries. AS i find more out i will post it.

i just checked the fcc data base, and there is no new public safety the reason you may not hear them is i dunno if they have a crew during the summer i hope the do. you may want to check frs/ gmrs frequencies b/c they are using frs 15 for cat tran. I'll check weekly to see if they have new liscences pending

another reason that you wont be hearing any ems 20 traffic is the fact that most of the stupid acting students are home for the summer so ems doesn't have any alcohol induced stupidity calls to go to like a subject passed out in Scott after firing off a fire extinguisher
