If you dowload the current info for the new Washington County P25 system you won't hear squat.
However with a few tweaks, things come alive. It seems the Talkgroups are OK, but the control channel and offset data may be a skew.

I'm used to programming professional radios, so this may not be in a format that's easily digestable, but it's accurate. Program as follows:

WACN = BEE00
System = 277

Control Chan:

Rx Freq --------------------- TX Freq
460.212500 465.212500
453.237500 458.237500
453.287500 458.287500
453.312500 458.312500
453.762500 458.762500
460.075000 465.075000
460.137500 465.137500
460.150000 465.150000
460.387500 465.387500
856.262500 811.262500

Channel Identifier list:
Base RF BW Tx Offset Chan Spacing
851.006250 6.250 -45.000000 6.250
762.006250 6.250 30.000000 6.250
452.000000 12.500 5.000000 6.250

Site List

Site 0001 - Site Number 01 - System ID 277 - RFSS Number 01

ALL THE ABOVE IS IN HEX!

Don't know what scanner MrQRO is using but scanners do not require or even have a place to use transmit frequencies for trunking systems, thus 856.2625 is the only thing missing from database page. Trunking tables have been there at least by July 26 2011.

The OP did say he was used to programming professional radios, so I would assume he's more comfortable listing the inputs/outputs - of course for scanners, that's immaterial...best regards..Mike

Wash Co P25...Sorry

Yes, I am more familiar with programming commercial radios, so the data may be in excess of what is needed for a scanner.

There is more than just the extra control channel here, it's data in the channel identifier list which shows the freq's, spacings, and offsets that are being used.

I will surely pass this up the line to the DB folks!

Regards!

programming pro96

for some reason i cannot pick up Washington County FD on my pro 96. I programmed it with the info from radio reference and the additional freq's it said to add and offsets.
Frequency Table:
0: Base: 851.00625 MHz, Spacing: 6.25 kHz
1: Base: 762.00625 MHz, Spacing: 6.25 kHz
2: Base: 452.00000 MHz, Spacing: 6.25 kHz

Table for Pro-96/2096:
Ch Lo 8192
Ch Hi 12287
Base Freq 452.0
Offset 8192
Step 6.25
Anyone have any suggestions/hints?
