New 4819 Site 007 dispatcher sending EMS to locations in New Providence and Short Hills. This fits nicely in New Providence TG ID’s. I believe this will be the regional Mountain Valley Emergency Comm Center TG. Will monitor more before making DB submission.

Confirmed without question TG 4819 “Mountain Valley Communications”. So far New Providence Fire and also EMS, Millburn Fire and also EMS.

West orange TG 6093. Fairly heavy activity over the last few hours, but unable to identify the type of service. "5000 to Unit 6""Unit 6 10-41" and similar transmissions. "Unit 5 relieving Unit 4". RID pattern 1230XXX. With no locations mentioned and everything quite cryptic I'm almost guessing Dep't of Corrections or a county jail facility, or maybe a security or road works detail? Audio is very muffled for most of the users and I am getting heavy LSM distortion on it as well.

EDIT: Hospital of some kind? "Patient at main entrance going to D Level."

Other West Orange Simulcast TGs that popped up in the last ~14 hours with more than 10 hits: 4645, 4769, 4771, and 4819.
Unfortunately I forgot to turn on RID before I left for the night. I will listen on and off for these as time allows. I'm guessing 4769 and 4771 might be affiliated with Atlantic Health based on the rest of their TG numbers.

OK, thanks. It's not in the database. I'll take a listen on some of the others as time allows today. Just locked on 4819 and will see what pops up when I get back in a couple of hours.

4819 is fire and EMS for Millburn and New Providence

OK so with Milburn Fire on 4823 and FD/EMS on 4819, I'm guessing something is bound to show up on 4821 one of these days?

4643 & 4645 I have logged with passaic county RIDs, 160xxx. I’ve only heard ENC traffic them.

I would be helpful to get the XXX portion of RIDs to determine what agency or town in passaic County that are using these talk-groups.
As posted on March 19, City of Clifton Police was making plans to switch NJICS. So RIDs of 160200, 160202, 160233 etc would indicate this move pr at least the testing of by said agency. (1602 being the Municipal Code for Clifton):coffee:

Anyone running Unitrunker getting site 17?
From what location? Is it showing up as a peer to any other site? Does it show any peers of its own?

Looks like the control channel is 774.79375, is that correct? And it's showing a TDMA traffic channel of 773.06875. Both of those frequencies are part of the Rutgers site 29, with 774.79375 being the primary control channel.

Are you sure this is a legit site and not a bad decode in Unitrunker?

Site 17 isn't showing up as a peer on any of the sites I can pick up in Monmouth County but I can't get Bordentown locked in. My guess is it may be Hamburg coming online unless it's a decode error.

It's not Hamburg (aka the future Sussex simulcast cell), as neither frequency will be part of that cell. I just checked six sites in and around NW NJ, and Site 17 does not show up at all. Not even as an isolated/failed site.

Just looked at CAPRAD and it has the following assigned to Hamburg IR:
770.19375, 770.65625, 770.94375, 773.54375, 773.80625, 774.29375

Echo Lake IR:
769.71875, 770.16875, 770.45625, 770.96875, 773.04375, 774.08125

So I'm guessing it's not Hamburg like I previously thought.

Only allotments in Region 8 for 773.06875 are Clothier Hall (Rutgers), Alpine and Wall.

FYI neither of those sites was ever built out. CAPRAD is a decent resource, but it's not always up to date or entirely accurate.

Hamburg will eventually be part of a Sussex County simulcast along with High Point and Walpack, and Echo Lake will be part of a Passaic County simulcast along with Bearfort and Garrett Mtn. They will be using the general pool frequencies allocated to both counties, which have been licensed to the state, rather than the state allocation frequencies.
