NJ Homeland Security/or State AG office assign to Bergen
or ?
Bergen RDF have cashe of radios assign to rdf TG's on the county system
i have not seen these ID's elsewhere

The NJICS structures local and county ID's by the State Taxation Municipality Codes. Agencies in Bergen County would have ID's in the 200001-299999 range. Five digit ID's, such as what you encountered, are normally state or federal agencies of various types. So it's likely not a Bergen County agency, or Bergen County municipality. The TGID would help in making a determination of who those RID's belong to.

Not that it makes much of a difference to due their operating status, however for the notes, Roselle Park Police are now being dispatched by Union County Police 2400, still on RPPD's talkgroups.

There's a new site on the air: Site 15 - 774.53125

The northernmost site that it's a peer of seems to be the Bordentown simulcast, so it's likely in the southern part of the state.

The documentation shows Site 15 as Cinnaminson. Yes, we already have Site 37 labeled as Cinnaminson, and Site 37 is still an active peer of Bordentown along with this new Site 15. Site 37 in the documentation is named "STR", whatever that stands for.

It would be great if someone in the area could snoop around to find exactly where Sites 15 and 37 are located.

FWIW @GTR8000 not sure if this makes a difference, Site 37 Cinnaminison actually isn't in Cinnaminison at all afaik. It's directly behind borough hall at 20 West Broad Street in Palmyra Borough as far as anyone last knew. Less than 2mi from the town line. But I'm not sure it was ever verified, so someone probably should.

Also shot in the dark btw, but STR is a Verizon abbreviation for a site type, Standard Tower Repeater. And the tower behind Palmyra Borough Hall I believe is a Verizon site, though it also carries public safety comms. Probably completely unrelated in terms of NJICS/REMU nomenclature but figured it might be worth mentioning.

Well, as I noted, the name of Site 37 on official documentation is "STR", and Site 15 is supposed to be Cinnaminson, so this appears to be a good time to determine the actual location of both of these sites.

Maybe I'll take a ride today with UT2.1 just for the hell of it before the STAR-25 trip this week. The only STR in terms of municipalities I can think of in New Jersey would be South Toms River, but that wouldn't make any sense being Site 37 previously had been tracked to the river side, not the shore side.

I actually had that in my post last night (South Toms River) before editing it out, as it made no sense based on the peers that were reported for Site 37 (one of them being West Trenton). It's worth noting that in the official documentation, they had "STR II (Echo Lake)", a site which of course never came online and will eventually be part of the Passaic Simulcast cell. Point being that "STR" has some significance beyond the abbreviation of a place name, at least it would appear.

Be funny if all it was referring to was a Motorola STR-3000 package. I'll take a ride and post the UT screenshots here. Nothing better to do today.

Site 15 is now Cinnaminson, and it's located in the Cinnaminson Public Works Yard. Freqs for the site have changed as well. Also, Site 21 is no longer being reported as a Peer to Site 3. Onto the next challenge as we speak, and I will submit updates to the database once I have all my paperwork in order...

Edit: Site 37 is also showing at the same site as 15; perhaps a Site is in the works of being moved?

I'm going to have to argue with that one emphatically. Site 15 is at Palmyra Borough Hall. I'm sitting here now, with the CC decoding data on both the SDR and BCD396XT with no antenna when I drive behind the building under the tower. I have zero signal on Site 37 without an antenna, and with a roof mounted Larsen 700MHz antenna, it's poor reception. I'm trying to post the screen caps and video, but my laptop is being a pain. Standby.

Site 15 - "Cinnaminson"
Actual Location: Palmyra, NJ Borough Hall (40.00316, -75.02193)
Remarks: Not transmitting a callsign, NAC 390.

The coordinates listed for Site 37 in the database are wrong and are actually those of Site 15 as shown above being in Palmyra. Headed to the area of the Cinnaminson DPW Yard now to check on Site 37 with UT and Pro96Comm.

Okay, I have to admit when I'm wrong. And I was 100% wrong.

I got trolled by acceptable reception of 15 without an antenna at Palmyra. GM is 100% correct. I've got S9+20 and RSSI of -27 with no antennas on both 15 and 37 sitting under the tower at the DPW Yard in Cinnaminson.

Correct coordinates for both sites are:
40.0094662, -74.9822507

Site 37 needs to be updated for location, and Site 15 needs to be added.

Site 37 UT:

A word of caution to those of you using Unitrunker 2.1: Rick put a "Too Many Peers" check in place due to a bug that occasionally pops up where the program freaks out and incorrectly reports a ton of nonsense peers. Unfortunately the way the check works is to artificially cap the amount of peers per site at 9, which means that you may not be seeing all peers for a particular site if there are 9 or more peers.

Last night I was sitting on the Hunterdon (11 peers) and Bordentown (14 peers) cells, and various sites were not showing up due to this restriction. I had to switch over to DSD+ to get the full peer list for each cell (listed below).

Code:
    Site: 1.2 NAC=392 BSI=WPTZ794 ; Hunterdon Simulcast

    Neighbor: BEE00.39A-1.3 ; Bordentown Simulcast
Neighbor: BEE00.39A-1.8 ; New Brunswick Simulcast
Neighbor: BEE00.39A-1.19 ; Delaware Water Gap
    Neighbor: BEE00.39A-1.27 ; Walpack
    Neighbor: BEE00.39A-1.28 ; Martinsville
    Neighbor: BEE00.39A-1.29 ; Penn Station
    Neighbor: BEE00.39A-1.31 ; Cranbury
    Neighbor: BEE00.39A-1.32 ; Washington
    Neighbor: BEE00.39A-1.36 ; West Trenton
    Neighbor: BEE00.39A-1.38 ; Stockton
    Neighbor: BEE00.39A-1.60 ; Pluckemin

    Site: 1.3 NAC=394 BSI=WPTZ794 ; Bordentown Simulcast

    Neighbor: BEE00.39A-1.2 ; Hunterdon Simulcast
    Neighbor: BEE00.39A-1.4 ; Berlin Simulcast
    Neighbor: BEE00.39A-1.5 ; Hammonton Simulcast

FWIW also, sitting at Walmart with both computers going, the sites are carrying identical traffic right now. So same tower, same traffic.

Someone just brought up a good point in private conversation. Can any of you gentlemen down south confirm that Chatsworth/Red Lion is still on the air? Or that it's showing as peer to anything?

Radio Ditch, I was at the WalMart lot in the back from 2:15-2:45 pm this afternoon working the site(s) as well. I was just as confused at first, so I headed to Chatsworth site, and lo and behold, it's now part of Site 3, and Site 21 is off the air down there. Looks like we are gonna need teamwork here from everyone and check every site once weekly for updates. I will be submitting an update to the database of other changes I found shortly.

Chatsworth never made a whole lot of sense as an ASR, so I'm not surprised that it was folded into the Bordentown simulcast.
