on the bcd325p2. with the ARC-XT or FreeScan offers software /// can the RR database be directly loaded and updated , and with Fav lists, like sentinel does for the 536/436 ???
Anyone have any hits on 4525? I see some 132xxxx radios affiliated on that talkgroup.
Unfortunately I think you're just too far. Even the nearest tower of the Bordentown site is a good 50 miles across the water. So it's likely that you are hearing another system on the same frequency. And the Orange site is really only meant for coverage within that County. You're well outside of the intended coverage zone.question.....Just bought the BCD436HP due to the rapidly increased Phase 2 happening. Previously had the PSR 500. With the 436 I am getting almost full bars on the Bordentown site but with no activity on any TG. Wondering if that's normal bc I know the system is still new. I do have all the sites programmed in from the database. And what's weird to me is the fact I live on the Queens/Nassau border on the south shore and looking at the coverage map it shows the west orange site that I should hear. Any input would be appreciated since I'm learning the new scanner.

The NYC DoITT 700 MHz system's primary control channel is 774.34375. The NJICS Bordentown simulcast also uses 774.34375 as an alternate control channel.
So what's actually happening is that your scanner, while scanning the NJICS system, "hears" 774.34375 from the NYC system and thinks that it has found a control channel for the Bordentown simulcast.
The solution is easy: delete or lock out all of the NJICS sites from the scanner that you won't have any chance of picking up on the island.
