Lots of 3-COMM and 5-COMM activity this morning on the Hunterdon Simulcast.

Aren't they running an enhanced aggressive/distracted driver campaign this month?

Is NJSP full time on the 700mhz system? Or is it when a user is on the system?

Only when a user is on.

With the aggressive/distracted driver campaign going on this month, there is a lot more cross-over activity happening...

Just saw the DEP fire talkgroups in the DB. Who is using them and what is the typical use?

My HP2 is no longer receiving the WO or Union simulcast. Has there been any change to the control channels?

I'm late on this one, but was listening from Essex County on BCD996p2 and BCD325p2 without issue. (From Essex County)

796 is not a valid frequency in the band, so something got decoded wrong. Check again.

It's unlikely that any voice frequencies have changed, and if they had, they certainly would not be outside of the 769.00000 - 774.99375 range. Anything outside of that range is invalid for the 700 MHz public safety narrowband spectrum.

It could be that your scanner has somehow managed to get a bad band plan, which would definitely throw it off when tuning to the voice frequencies. I would refresh the programming and see what happens, but if you're seeing frequencies in the 796 range, something is wrong with the scanner.

You didn't mention what model scanner you're using. That might provide a clue as to what is happening.
