On autopilot overnight. Berlin Simulcast. No 057 or 062. Could the new site (if built yet) at the Community College be part of Cumberland or Berlin simulcast and not an ASR?
So far 57/62 Bordentown peers only.

Funny. I'm in Berlin not getting anything on 858.70625 or anywhere around there. I know 858.7125 is a voice channel for the. NJSP Troop C simulcast. And 857.4375 is a voice channel for Troop A simulcast.

A number of the old SmartZone channels have been shut down and reallocated to the NJICS system. 858.7125 is definitely one of them, I haven't had confirmation on 857.4375, but I suspect that's probably gone also at this point.

12/15/22 Site 28 Martinsville is off the air. No alt cc in use and UT showing not active. Checkmark missing. Box failed checked. Site 8 and Site 7 also show it as failed.

The updated channel lineup for Martinsville has been posted to the database.

Note that we now have two sites in close proximity sharing a frequency. 773.30625 is new to Martinsville, but is an existing channel for the Cranbury site. Perhaps we can get someone to check Cranbury to verify that channel lineup hasn't also changed.

Interesting and nice observation. I hear Cranbury well. No changes. In fact 773.30625 is an alternate on both sites. That is 20 miles, line of sight.

Perhaps this is a clue. UT tab Cranbury Voice Yes, Martinsville, Data and voice are both no.

The frequency just went into service at Martinsville, so it's probably too early to draw any conclusions. Wait until it gets busy and the system has to start using that frequency to carry traffic.

That last part goes for anyone following this thread. Please check the neighbor/peer listing for your local NJICS site(s) to see if anything new has popped up. We're already aware of site 61 Hamburg Mtn.

Deployed UT up in Sussex today. Site 61 “Hamburg Mountain” showing as a peer to the following sites. 024 Netcong, 026 High Point, 027 Walpack, 030 Bowling Green. Each site reported cc value as 01-1966. No frequency displayed.

Hamburg's control channel is 774.29375, however the site is not online yet. It has been reported as an offline peer to neighboring sites for a few months now, and should be online some time after the new year.

You need to push the band plan to all sites in UT to get the control channel frequencies to populate correctly. I believe I've explained this recently.

The hardware is being delivered to the site on the 22nd and bolted down on the 23rd. Then there is some internal and hackhaul work that needs to be done before it starts to handle traffic.

Equipment delivered yesterday. Now the waiting game of when it will get integrated and on the air
I'm still bummed that they scrapped the plan for the Sussex cell. It would've been great to only have to monitor that instead of three ASR's...it was bad enough with just the two sites lol. Oh well, they'll do what is best from a system standpoint. Hey, at least listeners in Morris County will have something to look forward to. ;)

Two photos below. The 15 mile Hamburg radius is likely conservative IMHO. The other shows how Sussex will soon have a triangle of sites.
