Is there a setting in the pro 106 that I can change to better receive the NJSP? I am mobile and no matter where I travel it seems the system is hard to monitor. I am in the sth jersey area and have both A&C programmed. Thanks for any and all replies.. By the way I have tried multi antenna's, it seems the rs 800mhz works the best.

The system has its weak spots especially with portables. I have the RS 800MHz antenna on a 396T and reception is not that great when inside the car in certain areas. You're best option for improvement is to mount the portable in such a way that the antenna is in an open space up near the windshield with a secure mount or by your drivers side window keeping the antenna as verticle as possible. Or get an external antenna on the trunk or roof of your car. Its well worth it if you listen often.
