New KSICS TG 386

Picked up 386 the other day over around the Pittsburg area...I was driving and lost signal so I couldn't really follow any convo. Any ideas?

Tg 389 also appears to be KBI. Any idea what 1309 is? Heard several times with only enc traffic?

389= KBI Southwest CH 1

I am surprised that KBIs talkgroups aren't all encrypted.

I believe that 1309 belongs to the KTA radio technicians. Maybe they are experimenting with encryption?

I heard some of the KBI guys I know from Pittsburg talking from Hutch to guys back in Pittsburg/Chanute the other day. Not encrypted. Of course...why would that be...

I'm sure they have the option...

There's no longer an audible difference so they may have forgotten to flip the switch.

Does that mean that TG 390 will be KBI SW CH 2? That would be the usual progression.
